Will my LC power LC550 V2.2 work with a GeForce GTX 460 or do i need a new one since i can see low rating on the 2 12V rails... 12V1 is 16 amps and 12V2 is 10 amps. in fact i don't even think it is a 550W PSU because those 12V ratings are lower than on my Xilence XP500 PSU in my other business PC as i like to call it the Xilence PSU's 12v ratings are: 12V1- 18 amps 12V2 - 20 amps.

yes i know LC power sucks even though its rated a 550W PSU. do you think will my PC be able to work for a few months or so with that PSU and a GTX 460 or should i just put in the Xilence PSU and use it until i buy a new one

I dont think the card will work at all with that psu, just not enough juice.

Hmm... odd. my friend has the same PSU and also has the GTX 460 and earlier he used a 9600gt since 2009 with that PSU. he started using the 460 since december 2011 and it still works. i don't know it seems weird to me that it works on it

I have the LC550 and it powers a Phenom II 965@4GHz with HD7870 plus two HDDs and an SSD. No problems yet.
