How do I add security to my Linksys 3000 wireless router? I run XP.

if you are still on default username and password, open a web browser and go to 192.168.1.1. use "admin" for both username and password. In the wifi LAN setting page, you can add network name and password for your wifi LAN. Also you can change the logon username and password to the router.

Thanks for the info. Where do I go in 192.168.1.1 ? There are so many choices when I use google and none ask for the username and password.

I don't know where exactly where to go because I don't have that model of router but it will be under something like LAN (local area network) and wifi security.
