probably a stupid question, but the usb headers are only 3.0. even though the mobo i chose supports 3.0, [AMD] i think most things are for the most part using usb 2.0.
the antec 302 sounds better because it is larger, but i do not want to pay for a 3.0 to 2.0 converter.

in CASE (haha get it?) you are wondering this is the mobo i chose:

302 definitely seems the better deal if you can get the extra $10 rebate thingy.

You won't be able to use the front USB unless you change your choice of motherboard or buy an in-line adaptor OR PCI USB 3.0 card, as it looks like your motherboard doesn't come with a USB3.0 header.

Nothing specifically needs USB3.0 yet, and everything is backwards compatible so you just get slower transfer rates. If that's fine for you, then there's no harm getting a USB2.0 front panel case. If you are happy with reaching behind your PC should you want to speed things along, you don't really loose anything.

Also, a lot of cases these days come with one of these-

Means you can plug in your front panel to USB3.0 or 2.0 headers.

So yeah, you can look at other cases, motherboard alternatives, or some sort of adapter, but whatever you decide it probably won't make much difference to you, at least for the foreseeable future.
