Quick question dvi vs hdmi

so monitor im using is a 22 inch syncmaster 2253bw with 2ms and 8000: contrast with a 7850 video card. Its a dvi only monitor. My question is there much of a difference between dvi and hdmi in terms of monitors of that size. everything looks great when i play but if there is a decent jump in quality with hdmi monitor i might invest in one.

HDMI and DVI use the same digital video signal. You won't notice any difference based on the interface. If there was any difference at all, it would be due to the quality of the monitor.
