CPU & Mobo Compatibility

Quick question. Will this CPU and Mobo be compatible with each other?

No you need an AM3/AM3+ socket motherboard for that CPU

Take a look at this link:

Those are the only supported CPUs for the motherboard.

Forgot to add, if you are seeking a compatible motherboard make sure it can support 125 watt processors.

Edit: If you are looking for high end motherboard with a new chipset and newer features then the motherboard Blacknemesist posted is good for that. If limited then the one I posted is good enough.

Sorry but no.Your CPU is AM3+ and the board doesnt support them.You can see for yourself on the "CPU socket type" it list on FM1.

Yep I max out all games with my Phenom II X4 955 and HD 7770 under the resolution of 1600x900 with pretty much all eye candy set to high :lol:
