My first gaming computer (Under 650$)

Ok so I need an upgrade from my Gateway laptop... Im looking for a beginner gaming computer to build. I want it to be under 650$ and be fit to play Skyrim and games like that... And Minecraft! I know next to nothing about what works together and stuff in a computer... SO if I can get help on what parts work together for a good gaming computer i'd love it <3

Oh and I need a monitor and I want to be able to upgrade the computer along the way.

A monitor + tower components at $650 simply cannot be done, because you won't be able to max games with it.
