will the 1gb versions of the 560ti in SLI bottle neck at 1600x rez? e.g. BF3 max settings

or do i need to spend an extra $250 for a gtx680

asfar as i can tell x2 GTX 560 ti twinfrozrII 2gb OC editions in SLI are near the same performance as a single gtx680 all the way upto 2500x rez.. but the 1gb versions of the 560's start to bottle neck at around 1900x rez.. does this hold true? if so does that mean i should save a couple hundred and get x2 1gb 560's

Should of added, im not concerned about power consumption, Heat, or noise... and as for future proofing with the gtx680 i see that solely as an illusion that never works out...

getting a second 560ti will do everything you need. in fact, 1GB's fine all the way upt 1920x1080 in almost all cases.

personally I game at 1080 with an OCed 7970, and the only time I've seen VRAM utilization over 1GB is Skyrim with ALL HD textures (including sky and water). and even then it's only 1.3GB (Crysis, bf3, metro2033 etc all use under 1GB)
