Was looking to possibly upgrade from my Radeon 5850 Video Card one day and was wondering if anyone can tell me if my MSI 890GXM-G65 is able upgrade to either a PCI-E 2.1 Video Card or if it will support any of the Radeon 6000 Series cards?

My specs are

MSI 890GXM-G65
AMD Six Core Processor
650 Watt Power Supply
4 GB Ram
5850 Radeon XFX Video Card

It would support PCI-E 2.1 and 3.0 cards fine.

PCIE 2.1 is the same as PCIE 2.0.

What are you gonna get? HD 6xxx card won't be a major jump over your current HD 5850.

ilysaml- What would you recommend for a graphics card that would last for awhile longer than what I currently have? Might also get a new Power Supply as well because if I upgrade to a newer and higher level Graphics card won't I need a stronger Power Supply than 650 watts. I was looking at possibly getting a 750 Watts Power supply or an 800 Watt Power supply. What do you think?

What kind of PSU do you currently own? If it's a quality branded PSU it will be very sufficient for your needs. A true 650W PSU can run any high end GPU.

Right now I recommend getting HD 7850, it's the best bang for buck, performs better than the top end HD 6xxx.
