Advice on $1200 gaming PC

This will be my first build. I am working with a friend who has given me some advice and would just like some verification if this setup would be suitable. Any comments/speculations would be greatly appreciated :) 

Approximate Purchase Date: 1 week

Budget Range: $1000 - $1400

System Usage: Primarily Gaming


Preferred Website(s) for Parts:

Country: Australia

Parts Preferences: CPU - i5-3550k

GPU - Radeon 7850

PSU - 750 Silverstone

SSD - Agility 3

HD - 1TB Caviar Green

RAM - 8GB Corsair Vengeance

MB - AsRock Z77-Extreme4

CASE - Aero Cool Black Hawk

DVD - Anything will do

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Crossfire

Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1200 16:10

Additional Comments: This is my first post/build and would just like to know if I am on the right track or not.

heres my take. if you want a 670 in your build, you will have to throw 200 more dollars which i dont think its worth that much given you can get yourself another 7850 in crossfire. enjoy!

ah ok thanks, so your saying that if i double up my gpu's its just as good as a top card? so this looks all good/compatible?

you dont need to add another card in just yet. one 7850 already gets you 50 fps in bf3 at ultra
