Currently I've search all of the 5670 card and it has no required 6 pins. Did I buy the fake one? Or did the salesman cheated me or factory fault?

and another question is.. what does Extra power (6pins) do to the GPU is it important??
HELP! :(

Solution

it will perform like 5670 thats why they branded it as 5670 not 5770. If it performed better than 5670 then they would have surely sold the card as 5770 in higher price (Why a company will sell a better card in lesser price). any other difference can be traced only by performance comparison u can use fraps for measuring fps in games and then post it here (with all the graphics setting of the said game) and I can compare with mine xfx5670. then u may definitely know is it better than real 5670 or not. And please dont use battlefield 3 as the...
im not sure if the 5670 comes with an 6 pin pcie power or not but it basically means the card needs additional power. yes it is important because the card will not display anything on the monitor unless you give it the power it needs and is designed for

If my GPU requires 6 pins is it powerful?

I doubt whether you got 5670. Can you show us the picture of the box it came in & the card itself showing the 6PIN PCIe?

You got the 5670 alright. But I can not make out the PCIe connector in your picture but the cable you are connecting to it does not seem like PCIe.
It's really strange if it does have the PCIe connector. Powercolor website specify no PCIe power connector. But your box somewhat look different than what is in the website with yours saying something like 2GB (blurr ) under the labels 1GB & DVI/CRT/HDMI.

I guess it makes your 5670 a collector's item. :)

No my PSU doesn't have 6 pin thats why I made myself a 6 pin which is copper cables.. And in my box it said 1 GB DDR3 and below is the hdmi etc and below that is hyper memory up to 2.8 GB. And in my computer I've checked what card is it. It says ati 5600/5700 that only appears even in GPUZ. I have a question... What is collectors item do? Or something.

A collector item is something out of the ordinary and rare.

If it is not too much trouble for you & for the interest of making doubly sure, can you unplug your 6PIN copper cable & take picture of the graphics cards on its own showing the whole card with a clear view of the 6PIN PCIe socket in it.

Here is my 6 pin again

And my Whole GPU again

By the way I'm going to remind you again.. if i'm going to check my gpu in "Right click>Screen resolution>advance settings and adapter it only shows ATI 5600/5700 and it's not like this ati 5670 series, even GPU Z.

And another thing If I put my GPU without the 6pin to molex it does not work but if I put it, it works normally :))

here is the advanced setting in screen resolution of my 5670.
Your card may be one of the prototype ones that ati produced at first hand and gradually upgraded them and sold the old ones to card manufacturers that's why no specific card number in your card

So do you thinks that's true?? or maybe I just got the other cards?

Thanks a lot. Your card is really interesting. Can you take a screenshot of your GPU-Z too. It should tell the number of shaders & other GPU specs that we could check against the 5670 specs.

your gpu is juniper which is used for 5770 not for 5670. codename for 5670 is red wood. 5770 has 6 pin power cable. So it is evident that your card is a downgraded 5770 prototype on which they experimented the beginning with ddr 3 memory
