where can you shop? do some of the work yourself and give us your first suggestion. it will pay back a lot later on.
  2. Well i actually have 2 its all on newegg

    I5 2400
    EVGA GTX 480
    Western digital caviar blue 500gb
    Corsair cx600
    ZALMAN Z9
    G.skill Sniper 8gb 2x4 1333
    Lg dvd burner 24x dvd+r
    Asus p8h61

    I5 3570
    GIGABYTE HD 6850
    ASUS P8H61
    ZALMAN Z9
    G.SKILL SNIPER 8gb 1333
    LG DVD BURNER24x
    SEAGATE SV35 500gb 7200rpm
    CX500

Those are $700 builds i keep it under $700 cause i preserve $200 for monitor that is my suggestion
  3. The 480 is old, but good, if you can get a cheap 580 it'll be better or even a 570 (although a 560ti 448, trades blows with a 570), before they go out of stock.

you've got a case? and windows?
  4. Haven't you asked this a dozen times already?

So i will get a gtx 560 ti 448 cores and its the same ZALMAN Z9 case i have a copy of windows 7 home premium 64-bit what do you think i might be wanting a little cheaper card

Actually i already bought arig this is another one
  7. Any other suggestions how about upgrades to those rig i gaved
  8. If you are on tight budget, go for AMD, you can make a better machine from above, it will give you space to buy a better gpu.
But if you want to stick with intel, then for sure choice is yours.

Ok how about giving a suggestion on a AMD build make sure to use a high gpu
And also thanks for the suggestion :)
  10. I can run it at smooth fps 1920x1080p everything on Ultra except AA which is turned off, and vsync off of course, on an Asus gts450 running at 1ghz so I don't think you need quad sli gtx 580 or whatever to run this game nice, just get a decent card. BTW, my card ran it ok at max settings but i only got to play the singleplayer, so getting a gtx560 sounds like a good idea since playing online with lots of other players probably takes a bigger toll on your hardware.
  11. What motherboard,GPU and processor do i need for an AMD BUILD
  12. How about this

    AMD Phenom II X4 975 BE-OEM
    GTX 570 TWIN FROZR
    ASRock 880-GM
    G.SKILL RIPJAWS X 8GB 1333
    LG 24x DVD BURNER
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500gb 7200rpm
    COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 EVO
    ZALMAN Z9

Now i need a PSU i need a cheap one cause this is $653.92 on newegg already
There i need a psu any suggestion
  13. are you going to OC? if not then use the stock cooler. that'll give you enough budget for a good PSU which is more important.

    this memory
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231308
    or this?
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311

the first is better, timings 7 vs 9 and cheaper (not much I know)
  14. Im not going to OC but as i have written its OEM no stock cooler in it that is why i put a CM hyper 212 evo im asking for a psu i want the g skill memory more

    There
  16. I forgot guys im using a 18.5 LED monitor i dont know what resolution is it thats my monitor
  17. paolo220 said:

that memory is worse, 99924 vs 777(something) memory shouldn't need giant heatsinks unless you are seriously OCing them, or have zero airflow in your case.

at 18.5 you are probably on 1680x1050, if you are lucky, or 1368x768 if you are not so lucky.

it does make the gpu choice cheaper though.

    Sorry for the ugly reply.

This will keep you going well for 2 years (IMO), then you'll need to upgrade the GPU, but probably not the CPU (OC it). If I were to save a bit here and there you'll need to upgrade both when it comes to upgrade time, as one would bottleneck the other. Right now your gpu is the bottleneck which is ok as you are only on an 18.5" screen, the 480 would be good above 1080p on current games.

The 480 beats the 6870 http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/290?vs=309 which is also at $200.

I can't do an AMD cpu build as I don't understand them well enough, but you need a processor + mobo for $325 to beat the above. And you probably can bring your budget under the 750 that way, but the 3570K will be faster but for the next year, it won't give you a material benefit.

Easy, here's an SLI ready mobo and a CPU cooler too for cheaper:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: AMD FX-8120 3.1GHz 8-Core Processor ($159.99 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Xigmatek GAIA SD1283 56.3 CFM CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg)
    Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard ($104.99 @ Newegg)
    Total: $294.97
(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)

I'm not convinced by the FX's i'd have gone high end PHIIX4, but I don't know the perf comparison to I5 K, I suspect real world, today, not much, but it would be running closer to 100% (my 3570K is at about 40-50% on BF3) and hence would need to be upgraded sooner.

Having saved that $30, I wouldn't increase the GPU, the 480 is best value right now looking at what they've got, and whilst they've got it.
