New build being defined.

I5-3570K

8g Corsair Vengence 1600

ASRock 277 Extreme4 Motherboard

Middle of the road Graphics adapter nothing high end

Case, not investigated yet

In looking for a PSU I see the following at Newegg. After rebate and instant saving the bottom line is $50.

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

This is more power than I need but looks to be a good quality unit.

What say ye? Go or No Go?

Thanks

Edited to add: I plan to overclock

You'll be able to run pretty much two of any modern graphics card (7xxx series from AMD, 6xx from Nvidia) on a good 650W, like the TX650W.

Usually I'm pretty good at that although my wife might not agree. :)

Thanks. That's the only one I had on my list. Need to work on that next and hope some good Black Friday things come along.
