1200 gaming/PS work computer critique

Hello,

I am building my first comp for photo/video editing and gaming. I need some help/guidance to ensure i purchase the right parts.


Approximate Purchase Date: The next week

Budget Range: 1000-1300 max

No need for the Silver 5 - the Hyper 212 Evo includes MX-4 which is far better than Silver 5.

And then for CPU - if your priority is Photoshop, this is one area where you actually will benefit from using the i7-3770K. That might actually be worth the upgrade.

And then upgrade your PSU to a 650W - 550W is a bit underpowered for a GTX 570.

The 570 is bested by the 560Ti 448, which is basically the 570, but with less heat, and it overclocks to GTX 580 levels.

Ok i changed the cpu to an i7 and vid card to 560ti. I am having trouble on deciding which power supply to get.

Not the 560Ti. The 560 Ti 448. Or maybe you're just saying 560 Ti as shorthand, haha. Maybe a 550W/600W PSU? Maybe even 500W. Just get from 500W-600W, but get a reliable one. Corsair, Antec, SeaSonic, Silverstone, XFX... Don't get Coolermaster. Very, very unreliable.
