More about enough power build
  1. 600W is PLENTY. I mean, it is like more than enough.
  2. Oh ok thats good.
  3. What about a 500w power supply?
  4. it's enough but i would recommend getting a different PSU http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1393381&CatId=5439 cheaper and 80 Plus Bronze

nope cutting it to close 480 is a powerhog
  6. that a reliable psu?
  7. better PC Power & Cooling PPCMK2S750 Silencer Mk II Power Supply - 750W, 80 Plus Silver, 135mm Fan, SLI Ready, CrossFire Ready, Active PFC
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=927377&CatId=2533 way more than you need but not overkill this is what my son uses with his 480 the OCZ ZT Series 650W unit i linked is made by a company called Great Wall. The PC Power & Cooling Silencer MK II 750W is built by Sirfa/High Power.
Out of those two I would buy the PC Power & Cooling unit because it has a longer warranty, probably has a quieter fan, higher efficiency.
  8. Corsair Builders Series CX600 will do the job if you want to buy a bottom of the line barley decent PSU buy that it will do
  9. Okay i will go with the second one you posted

You can check this page out here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-480,2585-15.html and it shows what kind of wattage those things can pull.
  17. nothing wrong with the PSU bigcyco1 suggested, just gave him a poke.

you will find it better to go with the ZT, will provided a little better power for all those case fans you're gonna need
