Opinions on this build.

This is mostly going to be used for gaming GW2, D3, Skyrim all on Ultra. BF3, MW3, Metro 2033 ect. can be lower.

Looking for a cheap 1080 monitor.

So how does it look so far? Do you think everything will work together?

  1. Looks good. You found one of the good Cooler Master PSUs.

    http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/power_supply/cooler_master_silent_pro_700w_modular_psu/1

What are you thinking for graphics card?
  2. I was planning on getting the GPU that comes with the PSU, the XFX Double D HD-687A-ZDFC Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit. I feel it would be enough for my needs, what do you think?
  3. Windows 7 is on sale right now at us.ncix.com for $85. free shipping and no tax unless you live in California.
  4. Too much for the combo. You don't need 700w to drive that card and its not that good a psu. For example, this one is way better and a lot less and has more than enough power:

So you could buy that Seasonic and the same card for $43 less. And you could apply the money you save and get a faster/newer 7850:

Or if you think you will need more power in the future, any of these Antecs for less than what you're paying for that Cooler Master:
