I have the Toshiba 17.3 A8-4500m... It's been the perfect desktop replacement while waiting on my build.... My A10 desktop should be ready by next week.... Id' be willing to work out a deal if you're interested... I can make thorough youtube vids of system, etc... Battery was stored immediately after cycled.... Pulled out again after 30 days for another cycle... No gaming or extended use whatsoever with this system... It's in immaculate condition and has sat on top of a 160mm elevated cooler master cooling fan since first power up... Has never left my desktop...
Have receipt with free windows 8 upgrade still available through staples....

Below is the ultimate upgrade for this particular laptop... Both ram and ssd are still in box...
For ssd install you can pick up a caddy to convert your optical... Or you can get a usb 3.0 external enclosure for the 640gb hdd... The latter would be the cheaper (masscool usb 3.0 $15 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817388031) option and you'd be able to keep your optical... I planned on just removing and selling the 640gb... The 120gb ssd would be plenty for my use....

bratello2005, I'm willing to take $600 shipped for everything since that is your laptop budget... I'm posting this on craigslist once desktop is ready... Laptop is just over 2 months old and in perfect condition... As stated earlier, Ocz ssd and corsair ram set still in box...
