Radeon hd 6570 wont fit in dell e521

Hello, I recently bought a Radeon HD 6570 graphics card for my dell e521 in order to play Diablo 3, but when I tried to install the card, the metal piece at the end was preventing me from fully putting in the card to the correct slot. Is the Radeon 6570 really not compatible with my computer or am I just missing something. Thanks.

it should be compatible, HD 6570 is really a small card. What kind of metal piece? Any chance for a picture?

I think hes talking about the bracket itself. Sometimes they are hard to get into next to the motherboard, just make sure nothing is blocking the path.

Sorry, just remembered that I had a photobucket. I'm talking about that metal thing in the bottom left. It always seems to hit the side of the computer whenever I try to put it in the graphic card slot.

That thing should go between your case and motherboard. Don't be afraid to apply a bit of force to it (not to the motherboard though), so it goes into its place. These things sometimes do go hardway in.
