Archived from groups: alt.comp.networking.connectivity (More info?)

i have 2 computers connected to a dsl connection
first from the modem to hub and to the pc's
i hve a router on the way

why do both computers have the same ip address?????

When you go to www.whatismyip.com it sees the routers IP only (not the IP
    of the computers).
