Hi there. When you're on a tight budget, make sure you limit the places you are shipping from. Can you get to an MSY to get some of those parts or similar? They are about as cheap as it gets in AU. Eg they have that same GPU for $173 & you don't have to ship it. See the store locator, download their pdf pricelist and then give them a call to check stock:

http://msy.com.au/

A low cost case I like (Will link from PCCaseGear, but MSY have it in stock):

Antec 300 = $58

For the PSU

Corsair CX 500 + $69

I had a look at the MSY website and some reviews in general and to be honest, if something breaks down, it seems unlikely that im going to get it replaced-bad quality+bad service is a bad combo, so i think ill give it a miss

There's no doubt MSY cop a lot of heat. And from talking with many, I understand certain stores around Aus are better than others from a service and stock perspective. If you read into a lot of the posts, I think the main problems is that they sell a lot of absolute junk along with the good stuff. When you pay $50 for a 1000W PSU and it blows your system through the ceiling... I mean come on :) You have to do the research and know what your looking for, that goes without saying.

Being based in Vic you can pick up from PCCaseGear and Scorptec so your set. You've got to buy from places you feel comfortable with for sure.
