hello everybody not long time ago i bought a new MOBO the intel dp55sb and i have an i5 - 750 cpu.
i have desided to overcloak him.
i have enterd the bios and tried to change the multiplier and i just couldnt change them!.

can someone help me please right now i am on 2.66 GHz and i want to get to 3.5 .

The i5 750 has a locked multiplier, so you can't overclock by changing the multiplier. The only LGA 1156 chips that had an unlocked multiplier were the i5 655k and the i7 875k.

You can overclock the chip, but you have to do it by modifying the BCLK settings. You can find a complete guide to overclocking Lynnfield and Clarkdale CPUs here.
