Intel vs. AMD

I was wondering which processor is best...

Intel core i7-3930K

The intel processor is much more expensive than the AMD and is has more L2 Cache but the second one has more cores.

So, which one is best?

I need a processor for 3D work, motion and graphic design and occasionally for playing games.
