The biggest problem with youtube is youtube's slow servers. Any computer made within the past 10 years can handle youtube, and the G640 will do it without breaking a sweat. But you may still get buffering problems because Youtube often can't pipe data fast enough to stream HD.

Yes the Intel® Pentium® G640 is more then capible of running any videos from Youtube but since performance from that site has little to do with the processor you are using and more to do with the server that you are asking for that information it may not make a major difference in your enjoyment of the video you are watching over your old system.
