People have been saying late 2012 to early 2013 for a while, thats what I'm still guessing.

If you are going to get a graphics card now don't hope it's going to be released any soon :) . But if you would wait until the end of the 2012 or early 2013, it should be worth waiting :) .

It would just be nice to see a 680GTX or 690GTX in stock somewhere.

Ehh you can get GTX 670s pretty easy, and SLI 670s are only a few percent weaker than a 690 while being much cheaper (and available).

When did you hear that? They haven't even put GK110 on Tesla GPU, and it is really likely that they will release the 685/780 after the release of Tesla GK110 GPUs.

The big kepler has been released already, but as a Tesla card as you can check at Tom's report from the nvidia's latest conference. I don't see why nvidia would release anything more powerful than the 680/690 at least until a year for now, but one never knows.

The tesla K10 which is already released is GK104. The Tesla I'm talking about is K20 which is planned on Q4 2012.

I get the feeling its just a rumour , I dunno its hard to be sure if there is going to be a GTX version of the GK110
