Hello, I've got a Pentium D 3.3 &3.3ghz, 4gb ram computer which in need of a graphic card to run D3. I dont care about top end graphic quality but ideally i would like it to run smooth and decent (medium level setting) The power supply on the desktop is 450W. what would be an ideal graphic card for about 150-200?

I was looking at GTX 550, but if anyone can recommend a better product it would be much appreciate it.

Thank you in advanced

Do you plan to eventually update the board and CPU? If not I would recomend spending less ang getting something like a AMD7750 or a gtx550 for around $100 -$130.

The thing is that old CPU will not be able to provide data to the new video card fast enough to allow it to reach its full potential. In short a $100 card or a $500 card will give you the exact same game performance in that computer because the game is going to be limited by the CPU.

If you do plan to updatge the board and cpu then I say get a big video card now so you can keep it around for a long time.

I would go with a AMD 6870 for around $180. It will kill the 550.
