Sounds like a power supply issue to me. Your 6800 GPU will be using a lot of power while gaming, if the PSU cannot supply enough power the system will shutdown (or in some cases crash).

Hey are you using the 6850 or the 6870? Which games are you playing? Can you also post your temps?

Thanks.

The PSU is fine.
What resolution do you play at?And what games?
Your system is mid-low end so don't expect to max everything and run 60fps+ on games released less than 2 years ago(some exceptions apply). If BF3 forget it,it wont run decently with that CPU-GPU combo.

When a system directly powers down (and stays down, not restarts), the top suspect in my mind is the PSU. The OP has a fairly powerful card, reports that the PC shuts down while gaming, and hasn't listed the PSU. How you know that it's fine is beyond me...

Temperatures are also something to investigate.

It might also be an issue with the GPU Supply Voltage allocation. It also results in the same occurances.

So, checking the GPU Voltage, in the BIOS Menu, and setting it to AUTO, will solve the issue.

Well, everything seems fine with your system.

Just check the GPU Voltage in the BIOS Menu, and set it to AUTO, if it isn't.
