Dvi to vga help?

I was wondering if a DVI to VGA adapter would work ok for a xfx radeon hd 6870.

yes those dvi to vga dongles work on any card that has a dvi out

Yes it will, why it wouldn't.
It's usually bundled with your graphics card.

It will work perfectly but the best performance is given by Dvi cable.

i only have a samsung led syncmaster monitor which only has vga port on it so adapter is my only option for now i guess.

Yes,it is the only option until or unless you change your monitor.

Don't worry your display resolution will be fine with the adapter.
