ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.is this a big problem????new at the cases!!!!

If the case doesn't support USB3.0, then your front panels will connect to a 2.0 header instead (the mobo should have those as well). There maybe USB3.0 ports on the mobo that would work as 3.0 normally should.

Usb3.0 has extra pins, and since it's new, not all cases have updated to the new port. The extra speed is good for future proofing, but i wouldn't call it a deal breaker (especially if you have USB 3.0 available on the mobo).

The HAF912 is a nice budget case.

The CM HAF 912 plus is a good case, and the lack of USB 3.0 is only a big deal if you want that on the front panel. You can still hook up the front panel USB ports using the case's USB 2.0 header, and use it that way.

If you want front panel USB 3.0, these are good cases to consider in the price range you mentioned.

My ASRock came w/ a USB 3.0 front panel that went in a CD drive slot on the front of my case.

As for cases, you should get one with the most fans and lights as possible, that way when it's not working, you know it. And when it is working, it looks badass. 200% badassness

I really like my Cooler Master HAF XM case, it's a bit bigger than a normal midi-tower though. Have 2 200mm red LED fans on top, one in front and one on the side. Front has 2x USB3 and 2x USB2 slots, 2 HDD "dock" slots to easily add/remove 2 HDD's without opening it, etc etc.
People have different tastes ofcourse but for me it was a real hit.
