The Radeon HD 7770 has better relative performance while drawing much less power than the Radeon HD 6790.

You just need to make sure your power supply is capable of properly powering your system with the card you choose.

hey don t go for this hit 6790 old version i recommend you to go sapphire 7770 if you stuck in your budget go for 7770 which has better clock speed around 1000mhz or if you not yet satisfy wait for nvidia launches 650 ti it beats all ati cards the card will release on sep 9 2012 check the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv4RS82AXqA&feature=relm...
to buy newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=E...

monu_08, although you are right in that the 7770 is the better card when compared to the 6790, the reason for the 7770 being faster than the 6790 that you stated is wrong. Clock frequency is not a measurement of performance; the frequency is only a factor in performance. Also, until we have the 650 TI actually released to the market and bench-marked by reputable sources, we don't know how good it is.

The 7770 is better than the 6790 because it is generally faster than the 6790 (it's clock frequency plays a part in this, but is not the only factor, shader count, memory bandwidth, and many more are also factors) and it uses less power than the 6970, so much less that it doesn't even need a six pin PCIe power connector because it can draw all of it's power from the PCIe slot.

You could try typing things in your native language and then use Google Translate to translate it into English. Maybe it will help.

The power supply does not increase performance.

There was a different problem with your machine. The PSU does not determine performance. It determines how much power can be supplied to the internal components. A PSU upgrade would only improve performance if the old PSU was insufficient for the computer and that is not safe because it overloads the PSU, increasing wear on the PSU and decreasing longevity of the PSU. Increased wear also increases the pace at which a PSU degrades over time, so it's maximum wattage goes down faster as time goes on. It not only increases the chance of a failure, but even if it doesn't fail, it's maximum wattage decreases faster, so it might as well fail.

This isn't a case of the power supply increasing performance, it's a case of the old power supply not being good enough.

Facepalm. :\ That is because your local psu was underpowered. What you say implies that if you get a 1000W corsair psu, your gt 430 will get to gtx 560 levels. IT WONT.

yes 400 watt psu dosent support full power but corsair 600 gs give enough power to mobo at what he can moderate cpu components to work efficiently

The motherboard isn't getting any more power and the CPU cores are not going to benefit gaming performance at this low of a GPU performance level, unless it is a junk CPU. Also, a CPU does not run faster because there is more power, you need to manually overclock it in the BIOS. Regardless, improving CPU performance in a GPU bottle-necked situation does not net much gain at all.

Yes, but that wasn't what you said in your other post. Your other post referred to CPU improvements and said nothing about the graphics.
