My Gaming PC build - Your opinion?

guys, i'm from malaysia..

I'm planning to build my own Mid range gaming PC, this is the 1st time in more sophisticated era. My last built PC was on 2005.

What do you guys think?

Processor: i5-2500k or Ivy I5-3450
MOBO: P8Z68 – V LX or ASUS P8Z77-V LX
GCard: ASUS GTX550-TI TOP
RAM: CORSAIR 8GB 1600MHZ

If i5-2500K + P8Z68-V LX vs i5-3450+ P8z77-V LX, which one will perform better? Based on stock performance?

I am in doubt and don’t know which one I should choose between those two combination. For the graphic card, I prefer to use GTX550-Ti TOP which is cost me around USD170 in my country.
I5-2500K is around USD200 and i5-3450 is slightly expensive.

Both MOBO would cost me around USD120 z68 - USD135 z77..

So, what do you think?

Combination Sandy or Ivy?

Thank you.. but then, should i go for 560ti? it too expensive here even expensive than 2500k. how about HD series? any suggestion Sir? hehe

thank you redeemer.. was wondering also about the PSU.. 500w sounds good to me.. .. someone also suggest to use 650W.. but is it overdo? i think 500w would be more than enough right?

would like to ask you if you dont mind, is Z77 is going to give a lot benefit to 2500k compare to z68 platform. Just asking..

here 560Ti is so expensive.. but HD6850 is cheaper.. how about that? i think its good also right?
