More about corsair ax750
  1. Yesh. It's enough for any dual sli / crossfire configuration with significant overclocks. An AX750 is able to pull more than 900w and still stay in spec and at above 80% efficiency. It's a high quality power supply and will run that setup easily.
  2. 2x Gtx 660 ti consume 315W peak with some OC add a 77w ivy bridge and make it 100 with OC.

    Hdd = 15W
    Gpus 315W
    Cpu=100W
    Dvd = 25W
    Ram=16W
    1 fan is barely a W so nvm.

    480W all your system.

    Ur way good with that psu :)

    I'm just learning about PC's and building my own rig right now but I don't understand psu's pretty well, so what do you mean by "AX750 is able to pull more than 900w and still stay in spec and at above 80% efficiency" that it is delivering more than 750w to the PC components? pulling that wattage from where exactly? hope i don't sound like a noob but i would appreciate if you can explain this to me :)
  6. He mean's that Ax is a gold rated PSU 90% plus (less power bill) and its rated at 750W

    But he can pass that limit and get up to 900W and have 80%+ efficency (80 + rated PSU)

    So u will be ok with that PSU no problem. He can handle more than its rated power wattage.

    And u dont sound like a noob. Always there is something u dont know :)

    prototype is basically saying that the 750w rating on the Corsair AX is quite conservative, and that it could deliver
    900w(prob for short periods) if that much of a demand(highly unlikely) was placed on it.
    Quality PSU suppliers tend to rate their higher end PSU's conservatively.

  8. would this psu run 2 gtx 680's in sli? I thought maybe to get hx850 in case next year I upgrade my system
  9. Gtx 680 Sli consume 410 W so u will be ok with a ax 750 ! It can even deliver more power
