Rebuilding My Intel Rig

Hello, I am going to rebuild my Intel rig and would like to know if this CPU and motherboard would be good.
Motherboard : MSI Z77A-GD65 LGA 1155

My rigs are mostly for gaming.

I really have not keep up with the intel side of the market so I would just like to know if the motherboard and CPU would be a good match together. I have the rest of the components I need for this build. As far as price $400 is about the max I can spend including shipping.

I have always gone with MSI with my AMD rigs but if there is a better motherboard from a different manufacture at around the same price point that would be ok to.

CPU is perfect for gaming.
Mobo, I'd suggest ASUS P8Z77.

Ok thanks for the info vinaykumar5320 and coolermaster_72. I am ordering the parts now. I have 2 really good AMD/ATI rigs but my intel rig has been neglected for a long time so I figured it was time to bring it up to date. This will be my first Asus motherboard in quite a few years.
