First time building a PC and I need some pointers and recommendations....
Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next two weeks...
Budget Range: 1000 to 1200 USD After rebates. Willing to go slightly higher if need be.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, some 2d/3d design, lots of multitasking, 2-3 monitors (eventually)
Parts Not Required: I have had only laptops for a long long time. I have a keyboard, mouse and a monitor.... not looking to buy a monitor just yet.... feel free to include one if you want though....
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, amazon.com .... there is also a Microcenter less than an hour away.
Country: Michigan, USA
Parts Preferences:Thinking of using Intel i5-3570K, Z77 Motherboard, & GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Overclocking: Maybe, most likely not though...
SLI or Crossfire: No, no plans for it at least
Monitor Resolution: 1440x900 and up up up!
Additional Comments: This is my first build ever, I am a little scared and I don't want to make mistakes.... so any help that way is welcome.... case look and size does not really matter. As I said above I plan on eventually having multiple monitors, the more the better... but first the computer. Also everything in my house is wireless if that matters....
Any and all recommendations are welcome.... nervous about my first build but a little excited. Looking forward to getting out of the laptop game, and having a proper rig in my new nearly finished office.
