So it's 3:30 am and I've been struggling with this fan for like 2 hours now. I bought two different fans, one is awesome but the other came with some retarded form of connection that I just CAN NOT understand. Please tell me what it is and where it goes. I'm including 3 pictures for reference.

http://i.imgur.com/KHDzg.jpg This is the good fan, 120mm 3000rpm scythe, works awesome with a very neat red tip that plugs into my fan controller. So simple.

http://i.imgur.com/oogc2.jpg Fan 2, wtf? I don't get it. I don't know where to plug this stuff in, my fan controller only has little 2 pronged male slots.

http://i.imgur.com/lts3l.jpg 2 out of 5 of my fan controller plugs. Why does the scythe's red tip go right in but the other has some crazy contraption that cannot go into this?

thanks in advance :)

...your picture is the solution. Look at the end on the scythe, and find the ending that looks like that on the other fan.

The other option is to just plug it into a Molex plug on your PSU, but that'll make it run on full all the time.

The reason it has the other connections is so you have options - you can use Molex or 3-pin connectors, and it has male and female of both so you can daisy-chain multiple fans.

There is no pin that looks like that on the Thermaltake fan lol the scythe goes directly into slot 1 of the third picture.

The scythe only has that 1 red plug and it actually powers on when attached to slot 1 on my fan controller. The other fan has all that jumble coming out of it but it does not have anything that can be used to attach to slot 2.
