Im trying to decide what gpu i should i use

so i was able to get a corsair tx650w 80 plus certified psu, which can now allow me to upgrade my pc.

my specs are:
cpu - phenom II x3 720 (unlocked to 4th core)
mobo - MSI 870A fuzion
gpu - ASUS CuCore radeon 5770
Psu - coolmax M-500B

was able to budget the pc to around 350$ using ebay, and buying most of the parts used. so know i want to add an extra gpu, and my question is that since my motherboard has the lucid chip which allows me to mix and match gpu's, which gpu should i buy that will meet power requirements well enough and give me the most performance. im looking at trying to spend no little more than 100$ on a new video card at max, but the cheaper the better

the lucid chip is really driver dependent with [ I believe ] patches for each game needed

Your best chance of success is probably another 5770 , or if you cant find one then a 6770 which has an identical graphics processor

you would be better off getting a 7850 instead of a lower end crossfire set up

shuld i try to get something like a 7770 and see if that works well with the 5770? or is crossfiring with a 6770 a better idea?

I say Lucid had a nice idea on paper but real world gain/practicality : just hit a single, beefier GPU Even a locked Phenom II X3 chip with single beefy GPU is a decent gamer

then ill probably try going for a $100ish 7770, see how it works, and find out if its better to just use the 7770 instead of 5770 with 7770
