Alright, new to building. I've been researching a couple months and I know a fair bit about building but I'd like to ask people who have been doing it far longer. So here we go.

I already have the monitor, hd, keyboard, mouse. This is my current set up. I'll need a case suggestion though. My budget is $550 but I'll be buying another video card for SLI in the future. Obviously not needing all those things makes it more flexible also.

Edit: Probably should have mentioned what I'll be doing. It's primarily for school and some light gaming.

Mobo: ASUS M5A97 - 94.99
Video Card: EVGA GTX 550 Ti (Probably keeping) 134.99
CD Drive: ASUS Black CD/DVD ROM - 18.99
PSU: APEVIA ATX-AQ700W - 64.99
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 - 46.99
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz - 109.99

Comes out to $470.94

Thinking of just going with the classic Cooler Master HAF 912 case.

$530.93 with case. Opinions? All parts found on newegg.

for the case, id get a antec 302 just because they build their low end cases with a lot of quality.

for the same price, look up the 560SE. its basically downgraded gtx560 that comes in around the 550ti price point

for the psu, dont go low end. get a seasonic m12II 520w or a pc and power cooling mk3 500w. dont ever cheap on psu s
