Dell inspiron 530 question

I have this extra dell inspiron 530 computer laying around and i am wondering if anyone knows if i can put a gtx 560 in, i know i would have to get a bigger psu, but i don't have the manual and i am not sure if its a pci express x16 slot. I have read that it is indeed one but i am just wondering.

Any info would be helpful

I don't think that you can even fit a GTX 560 in that case and even if you could, that CPU would probably be a bottle-neck.

A bottle-neck is a specific problem that holds the rest of the computer back in some way. Your computer's CPU would hold the 560 back so far that you might as well have a GTS 450 or something like that.

We would have to see your system spec's and all you have to do is hit start type system and click on system information and it will tell you what you have. Plus we need the PSU wattage.

That you might have to open up the case and get all the info from the sticker on the PSU. I have to agree with blazorthon that it might be to big for your case and if you have a core duo CPU.

The it will bottle-neck. That is why we need the info so we will be able to recommend a GPU that will go with your dell. Good luck to you.
