EXtreme PSU calculator true or false?

Hello there,

I just bought a new radeon GPU and wondering whether I have the necessary power to run my custom built PC smoothly so here are the details I got from analyzing with eXtreme power supply calculator. Is that true? I have a stock (chinese) 450W PSU so do you think that's enough for my PC?

  1. Seems like a reasonable value however I wouldn't trust the Chinese PSU.

    Your 450W is enough for your Radeon HD 5570 -- you should have no problem with it, however PSUs failures may damage other components, so be warned!

  4. Yes I know lot about blowing up PSUs :P because my last gigabyte 550W PSU just blown up when a damn cockroach went inside it :( so since then I have to stick with these chinese ones btw.
