Hey guys I want to sli 2 gtx 680 gpu's with a single display. I was just wondering if I will see a boost in performance as opposed to just 1 gpu? Also, with the new 680's which of the four display ports should I use to hook up my monitor or which one has the best quality? Finally, one last question, how do I go about hooking up 2 gtx 680's to one display is there a website or something that has a guide or a step to step solution?
What resolution are you playing at? And what CPU do you have and is it oc'd? On a 1080p monitor, there will be an increase in fps, but you will not be able to see it unless you are superhuman or have fraps turned on. You're talking about seeing a difference between 77 and 148 fps on bf3. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-680-sli...
You might be able to discern fps on a 1440p or a 2560x1600 monitor or multimonitor setups, but other than that 2 gtx 680 sli or a 690 is waaaaaaaaayyyyy overkill for a single monitor.
When you cf or sli two cards, you just connect the monitor to the first card
