How much power would I need for this build ?

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler.
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard.
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory.
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive.

I was planning on buying the Antec High Current Gamer 620W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V but Ive been told that it isnt enough. I plan on overclocking the cpu to probably 4ghz more or less. Which power supply should i get ?

  1. Newegg has the antec 750w high current gamers in their current email promo, which expires today for $55 after rebate and promo code, but you have to be registered for it to work. That should be plenty. They also have the corsair tx650w for about the same price. I like the antec earthwatts 650w for around $70; it should also be plenty unless you plan to sli your system later.
  2. Yeah 700W should be enough. If you wanna double check here's Newegg's PSU wattage estimator:

  3. Hi :)

500 would easily be enough... as long as a good make...

    All the best Brett :)
  4. 500 watts is enough if you are not planning on going for SLI or Crossfire. :) That Antec High Current Power is enough. :)
