Does this motherboard supports 64bit cpu?

I'm not computer savvy and I stayed up all night and I couldn't figure it out.

Can someone please help me and tell me if I can put a 64bit processor on this motherboard...

No, none of the Intel® Pentium® 4 processors were 64 bit. The first 64 bit processor we released for desktop was in socket 775 and was the Intel® Core™ 2 Duos.

Actually there were 64 bit Pentium 4s. Pentium 4s are 64 bit from the Prescott core. However these were LGA775 CPUs and not the socket 478 versions unfortunately. To be honest the board supports 4 gigs of ram max so theres no need to use anything other than a 32bit OS anyway.
