What Hapns If u SLI a Non OC card with an OC Card?

Hi Everyone

Just curious, what would hapn if I SLI'd a factory overclocked card with a reference un-overclocked card?

they shouldn't be SLI to each other you must have same identical models with sam clock speed.

You can SLI them if they are the same model, for instance a 560ti OC and a 560ti non oc.

When you SLI them , both cards will work to the lower frequency of the non OC card.

You can readjust the clocks in sync using MSI Afterburner

could you say overclock a phantom gtx 680 4gb with and EVGA gtx 680 ftw 4gb?

Yes you can as long as they are both 4GB models.

also do you know if the faster card would slow to the clock speeds of the slower card. then from there would u just have to overclock them both back up to a reasonable frequency from there using like afterburner or such?

Exactly , the faster card will drop to the clock speeds of the lower card , you then overclock both of them in sync using Afterburner
