Fraps - video has black flicker...

I am using Fraps to record some game play to test out Fraps I just recorded the main menu which just tours the game levels. After I finished recording I played it back but the video had a black flicker.

The game is called The Ball it is a 3d puzzle game it is not very demanding graphics wise so I was able to put everything on max.

I would blame Fraps.... something isn't going right with it... either it is trying sync or it can't keep up.

Do you think I should try changing the recording software? or is there should I try changing the in game setting?...

I would try changing the recording software. There's plenty of different programs for recording. It won't hurt to try out different ones.

I did I tried ZD soft that gave me lag and flickering, then I tired Fraps which was 1 gb after 30 seconds, and finally I found Bandicam which is great size and quality wise however the sound is a bit off.
