Is ATI Radeon HD 5450 compatible for the system "HP pro 3005 Microtower pc".?

Hello,

My desktop model is "Hp pro 3005 Microtower PC" and it is having AMD Athlon II x2 215 processor and an on-chip Nvidia GeForce 9100 graphica card.

I wanted to add ATI Radeon HD 5450 (1GB) graphics card on my system , is it compatible.

The specification required is
>> PCI Express based PC with one x16 lane graphics slot on motherboard.
>> Min 1GB Syatem Memory.

The present Geforce requires 2.0 bus and this ATI 5450 needs 2.1.
But when I check the system model, they have given ATI 4650 is compatible for my system and even it requires x16.

Does it imply that , ATI 5450 is also compatible since it also needs x16 lane..??

no mate all gpu fits wheather its 2.0 pcsi x16 or 3.0 slot since now gtx 680 still work and perform well on pci 2.0 x16 slot it dosent matter 2.1 3.0 atleast u should check your mobo that it have pci x 16 2.0 remember 2.0 is the minimum current requirement to run all gpu yet hope it help
