MB not detecting Graphic card

Hi,

I installed Asus GT 240 Graphic card in PCI-E slot and changed the option in BIOS to boot from PCI slot and disabled Onboard option saved the BIOS and loaded.
1,In this case my system will Boot and VGA output comes from Graphic Card no issue.
2,when I shutdown my system and if I start it again VGA output takes from On board Graphic card.
3,Once again if i restart and check the BIOS setting VGA boot from will be selected as PCI (saved Properly)


note: I was using same board and G-Card for more than 1 year, i am facing this issue from last month only..

I have checked below option...but no solution....
Updated Bios, Changed New 500W platinum smps, uninstalled Onboard VGA driver...

System details..
MB model gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L
G-Card Model Asus GT 240
OS - W7

Might be that your motherboard battery is low so BIOS resets to defaults every time when powered off!

i have changed new cmos battery also..

If it always happens measure your new battery and if it has correct voltage and is correctly inserted then you have a problem with your motherboard.
