Hello,

I've just bought this product, but I can't make it work. What I'm trying to do is output 5.1 audio through this to a home theater. However, no matter what options I change, I still get stereo on my home theater.

Any ideas?

SPDIF can only transmit 2.1 PCM audio.If you wanna 5.1 needs to be encoded into DD or DTS.If you play a prerecorded material with a encoded audio just setup the player into passthrough mode
