Movie burnt to DVD -R on son's laptop, but now he can't play it through blu ray.
It plays via desktop etc.
Blu ray plays all other DVD discs.
What could problem be??

Thanks,
Sharyn

Hi :)

Cheap unbranded disc as a guess.... try a branded one...

All the best Brett :)

Did you burn it in a format the Blu-ray can read?

That's what we think - recording format was not suitable for blu-ray, but I'm a bit of a dinosaur with technology. My son burnt it from his laptop to DVD disc. What format does it need to be in for Blu-ray to read it?
Thanks,
Sharyn

Yes - it was copied in mp4 format.

He is not sure how to copy it any other way.

Thanks for your help.
