I was just wondering what you all think of the computer I'm planning to build:

- Intel Core i7 3770 Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core
- Asus MAXIMUS V GENE Z77 mATX DDR3 Intel LGA 1155 Motherboard
- Seagate ST2000DM001 Barracuda 7200RPM 2 TB
- Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8 GB (2x4GB) PC3-12800 1600mhz 240-Pin DDR3
- ASUS(PCE-N15) maximum performance Wireless-N Network Adapter
- Corsair Enthusiast Series 650-Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply
- Asus 24xDVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive
- Cooler Master RC-343-KKN1 Elite 343 Micro ATX Mini Tower

No GPU necessary, this is just for computations.

you dont plan to overclock?

if you do get these parts instead

i7 3770k
gigabyte z77x-ud5h (more expansion and features for a lower price)
gskill ripjaws x (low profile memory without the corsair price)
cooler master hyper 212 evo (for OC and better temps)
seasonic m12II 520w (cheap semi-modular psu with great quality)
antec 302 case

i dont see why you wont overclock or add a GPU. you can always use the GPU for computations using a quadro card from nvidia
