I just ordered the Klipsch Promedia 5.1 speakers. The manual that came with it says that the satelite speakers are sheilded so that they dont cause magnetic interference with other devices (ie. monitor). How sure can I be that this is true (or sufficently sheilded). I shelled out a load for a good monitor and I dont want my speakers to ruin it...

well i have some 5.1 speakers and they cause NO interference with the monitor even holding them right up to the screen from all directions.

i really don't think they will be a problem if designed esspecially for computers (speaker companys know what to do for computers coz otherwise they would have no customers)

alsoi magnetic sheilidng is as simple as putting a layer of tinfoil on the inside of the speaker case so i think they all pretty much do it these days.
