SHOULD I UPGRADE THE PSU??

I'm trying to do a budget build, my current set up for the past few years has been as follows:

wolfdale e8500
p5q pro board
4gb ddr2 corsair ram
corsair hx series 620w psu
ati 6850 gpu
seagate 250gb hdd

the set up im currently looking into is:

corsair 8gb ddr3 vengeance ram
asus m5a99x evo board
amd phenom IIx4 965
WD 1tb hdd
coolermaster hyper 212 evo cpu cooler
ati 7870 gpu

my question is since my psu is still running perfectly fine and im not looking into doing a crossfire setup or anything is it alright to keep the psu? or will it be a chain is only as strong as its weakest link type of thing. PSU has about 4 yrs on it. Any input is welcome. Thanks Guys.

forgot to state im getting a ati 7870 gpu as well ....
  3. Yes ! Keep that PSU. It will do the job even with a 7870.

    7870 can consume a peak of 170 W So u will be ok :)

    So here it is

    Cpu 125W
    Gpu 160W
    15W Hdd
    25W Dvd

And u are set with a Hx 620W

Mousemonkey is running Sli 660 Ti on a 620W psu (if im not wrong the same as yours)

    ahem, no offense, those E8xxx series use 65 watts . . .
    http://ark.intel.com/products/33911/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-E8500-6M-Cache-3_16-GHz-1333-MHz-FSB

however it doesn't matter, the OPs PSU is fine, just saying FYI.
