Speaker 5.1 can do with 7.1 sound card ?

Hi. I have this speaker Hercules XPS 5.1 70 Multimedia Speakers http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WOI66G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
do I need to by sound card support 5.1 or i can go with card support 7.1?
if its no , can you plz tell me what card can I get with around 50$ .

you can go with a 7.1 surround card,thats what i use for 5.1 anyway,it all depends on what channels you have hooked up....either you have 5 channels hooked up or 7 channels hooked up......youll be fine with the 7.1
